This is the state of the studio as it appears today. Most everything is packed up and put into storage so the place looks more roomy for the purpose of selling the condo. So for the time being I’m taking a break from physical art working. That doesn’t mean I’m not coming up with more ideas. I already have more ideas for projects that I know what to do with. In fact yesterday while drive back home from somewhere in the middle of nowhere in Nevada I came up with a public sculpture idea and several weaving ideas from scenes seen while driving.
I have just a few paintings still hanging that have not been boxed up for storage.
What a difference these empty walls make to the room compared to the portion the picture below shows.
Here is a glimpse of what part of the wall in the above picture looked like a few months ago. This image also shows an assemblage shown partially at the top middle of the image and the one resting on the table over some newsprint pages.
